What is your "why"? What drives you to do this important work each day?
I do this work every day so our Black students have a safe person and safe place to express who they are. I also teach the importance of our culture – who we are and where we are from.
What do you enjoy most about your role?
The kids! Every day is a vibe with these children. They make me smile every single day.
What would you most like families to know about the role of Student Support Workers in HRCE schools?
Your children are ALWAYS safe with us. We are here to protect them.
